Get all of the Nose's picks here!

After a long drama filled Offseason the NBA is finally upon us. I’m giving out some of my favorite future bets to lock in before the season starts Tuesday, I don’t see how they lose.

Rule #1 for the Golden State Warriors: ELE. Everybody Love Everybody. Klay will make sure this rule is enforced harshly.

DPOY Pick: Draymond Green +1400

It’s a big year for Draymond. He was already going to be in a contract season, and then he decided to knock out Jordan Poole. I think he plays hungry this year and has a vintage season. He has the 5th lowest odds behind Gobert, Bam, Giannis, and Robert Williams. I still think 1400 is very high. Draymond most likely would have won the award last year had he not injured his back for a long period of the season. The Warriors defense rated a league best last season and they should be right back at the top this season. Draymond is the anchor and eraser for that team, I’m betting the voters reward him.

People have been saying Joel will win MVP for years. So will 2023 finally be his year? I don't know, I just caption the photos.

MVP Pick: Joel Embiid +700

Luka has the shortest odds to win MVP; he's +450 at Fanduel. I’ll go with Joel Embiid here who is tied with Giannis for the 2nd lowest odds at +700 on FD. I think people are sleeping on the Sixers as a regular season team. By all accounts James Harden is healthy and in shape. I expect Tyrese Maxey to take another big leap this year, and Daryl Morey did an excellent job deepening the rotation with PJ Tucker, Danuel House and De'anthony Melton. If the Sixers are a top 3 seed in the East and Joel Plays at the same level he’s played the last two years he should be able to bring in his first MVP trophy. He’s had an argument each of the last two seasons, I think 2023 will be the season he finally breaks through. If you want longshot odds I like Zion Williamson at +4000 on Fanduel. Same logic applies here, if the Pels take a big jump from play-in team to top 4 seed which I believe they can, Zion has a shot to get MVP buzz.

Favorite Wins Overs

I'd love to see Nikola get in the ring with Tyson Fury. That'd be classic.

Nuggets Over 49.5 Wins

With Jamal Murray and Michael Porter coming back the Nuggets should be in for a bounce back season. I also like the pickups of Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Bruce Brown to address their perimeter defense. I think this Nuggets team should get to 50 wins after winning 48 with a much worse cast around Jokic last year.

Pelicans Over 44.5

The Pelicans were a different team once they got CJ Mccollum. The addition of Zion as well as internal improvements from their young players makes this an easy over for me.

Pistons Over 29.5

As I mentioned earlier, I think this team has sneaky play in potential, I think the way the team and Cade performed down the stretch last year was a sign of things to come. They should sail over this number.

Favorite Win Unders

Mavs Under 48.5

I think the loss of Jalen Brunson will hurt the Mavs a lot. Christian Wood may help make up for some of the scoring they lost, but I don’t see who is playmaking besides Luka on this roster.

Blazers Under 39.5

I don’t like this roster very much, despite having Dame I think the Blazers will decide to start tanking once they realize how they stack up in a crowded West.

"Sup, Girl."

NBA Champion: Golden State Warriors +700 on FD

Getting the Warriors as anything but the favorite seems like a steal. Steph, Klay, and Draymond proved they can still win at the highest level. They locked up other key rotational members this offseason extending Looney, Wiggins, and Jordan Poole. I expect another big leap from Jordan Poole this season who averaged 25 without Steph down the stretch last season and followed it with a stellar playoffs. Look for Poole to jump into all star level territory this season. The warriors should also see improvement from James Wiseman, Jonathan Kuminga, and Moses Moody, who all look like they could play major roles this season. Rounded out by veterans Donte Divcienzio and Jamychal Green, the dubs have one of the deepest teams in the league. Steph Curry with a team flanked by 2 future hall of famers and young ascending talents seems like a recipe for Championship number 5.
