Steelers Vs Browns (-4)

Hope everybody has an Amazon Prime account because Week 3 is kicking off with Thursday night football tonight. The schedule makers have blessed us, after an enthralling matchup between Patrick Mahomes’ Chiefs and Justin Herbert’s Charger on TNF last week, we get Mitch Trubisky Vs Jacoby Brissett!!

One of the most disgusting QB matchups that we have been forced to watch with Primetime football. Absolute despicable scheduling by fuhrer Goodell

That’s right folks, one of the best rivalries in the NFL takes the primetime stage tonight. This should be some good old fashioned football where points are hard to come by. Both teams enter at 1-1 and are coming off their first losses of the season. Let’s start with the Steelers, for some reason Mike Tomlin has decided that Mitch Trubisky is the answer at quarterback for this season. Mitch has started the season off about how any NFL fan would expect. He’s averaging a measly 181 passing yards per game while only completing 59 percent of his passes, and has two touchdown passes to one interception. More concerning, Najee Harris has gotten off to an extremely slow start. He has 25 carries for 72 yards through two games this season. The Steelers look like they are shaping up to be one of the worst offenses in the league this season. They are 30th in the league in yards per game. For an offense that has a good number of playmakers they are really struggling to move the ball. I expect this will continue as long as they roll out Mitch at quarterback. Defensively, they haven't been great either. While they have been able to force a good amount of turnovers, they are 26 in the league in yards allowed per game. This team is lucky to be 1-1, as they barely eked out a win against the Bengals in a game where Joe Burrow had 5 turnovers. The Browns looked like they were heading towards 2-0 before collapsing and blowing a 13 point lead in 2 minutes!! If Nick Chubb had just gone down the game would’ve been over and fantasy owners and gamblers would have been furious. Instead he scored, appeasing the masses, while leaving his team 1-1. It’s tough to be mad at Chubb, as he is the main reason the Browns were even in position to be 2-0. He has been phenomenal to start the season. He is averaging 114 rush yards per game and has 3 touchdowns thus far. The two headed monster of him and Kareem Hunt, along with a solid defense have kept the Browns afloat through Jacoby Brisset’s mediocre play. The Browns are 9th in offensive yards per game despite having a quarterback who has only thrown for 376 yards through two games. It’s great to see a team leaning on their identity and running the damn rock. Thursday night games between division opponents tend to be a bit weird, and I expect a Trubisky-Brissett matchup to have some turnovers and few scoring opportunities. Give me the Browns to bounce back at -4, the under 38, and Mitch Trubisky to throw a pick. At least we get one of the worst games of the week out of the way early, it’s just too bad we all have to watch it on a weeknight in primetime.
