Talk about some freakin HORSES shoving today in the Big Leagues. Morton, Glasnow, Wheeler, Alcantara, Rodon, Castillo, Burnes, Gallen, Verlander, Darvish, and Gonsolin. Absolutely stacked slate we have today, let’s jump right in.

Phillies @ Marlins 3:40 PM PT

Like I said, the theme today is horses on the bump. And we’ve got an absolute duel today with Wheeler and reigning NL Cy young Alcantara going toe to toe. Both of these guys have started off the season a little shaky, so I bet they start to turn it around, and we will see a pitchers duel today.

Cardinals @ White Sox 5:10 PM PT

Little inter league action here between the Cards and White Sox. Two teams that had a lot of promise heading into the season, and have not lived up to expectations. Here, I think Dylan Cease is a better arm than Montgomery, and that he gets to work today.

Reds @ Brewers 5:10 PM PT

Like the Yankees game last week where I felt the line was too good to be true (Germin Domingo ended up throwing a perfect game), this seems like a sucker line as well. The Reds are rolling and Elly De La Cruz might be the best player I’ve ever seen. There is too much value though with Corbin Burnes on the bump and the Brewers only being slight favorites.

Pirates @ Dbacks 6:40 PM PT

Two teams who have played above expectations thus far in the 2023 campaign. Pretty special to see old man Rich Hill still getting it done for the Pirates, but I think Zac Gallen is one of the best arms in the league. The Dbacks take care of business today. (Also don’t mind under 8.5)

Angels @ Dodgers 7:10 PM PT

The battle of LA. This one hurts my bones to take, but with Trout going down, the Angels lineup becomes extremely thin. Gonsolin is also a stud.
